A world that will not stay still
Rifts
Temporary Rifts open across the islands, and Keeplings captured inside return as Riftborn.
Rifts do not stay put. They tear open across the islands for a while, then close again, turning an ordinary route into a time-limited opportunity and changing what a capture can become.

Bring back Keeplings marked Riftborn
A limited window
A Rift can appear across the archipelago and disappear again. When one opens, Keepers have to decide whether to leave the usual path and investigate before the moment is gone.
Riftborn
Keeplings captured inside a Rift come back Riftborn. They are the lasting mark of a temporary event, proof that your Keeper was there when the world briefly split open.
